sourcing
pieces are sourced through established resale channels, private sellers and considered independent suppliers. provenance and available supporting information are reviewed where relevant.
assessment
every item is assessed before listing using the information available about its labels, production codes, construction, stitching, materials, hardware and documented references. where appropriate, additional references or specialist opinions may be consulted.
condition and disclosure
each item is inspected individually. notable wear, repairs, alterations or defects identified during assessment are described and photographed.
the limits of assessment
archive production can vary between seasons, regions and factories, while older pieces may have replacement parts or undocumented repairs. assessment reflects the evidence reasonably available at the time and does not remove your statutory rights if an item is materially misdescribed.
